Pottery CLASSES
Whether you’re brand new to clay or ready to build on your skills, our classes are designed to help you grow your confidence, technique, and independence in the studio.
Classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 12 students, so you’ll have plenty of hands-on instruction and support.

6 Weeks · 3 Hours/Week · $290
The perfect place to start. Beginner is designed for students with little to no prior pottery experience and introduces the foundational skills you’ll need to feel comfortable working with clay.
Includes one bag of clay.
Beginner is generally taken once before moving into Intermediate. With instructor input, students who would benefit from additional foundational practice may repeat Beginner one additional time.
Maximum: two Beginner class rotations.
-
8 Weeks · 3 Hours/Week · $395
Ready to keep building? Intermediate is designed for students who have completed Beginner or already have a foundation in pottery.
Continue developing your technique, confidence, and independence while working toward your individual goals.
Intermediate may be repeated as often as you find it useful.
-
8 Weeks · 3 Hours/Week · $395
For experienced potters ready to further refine their skills and work more independently in the studio.
Advanced classes provide continued instruction and practice while giving you space to develop your own work and creative direction.
Advanced may be repeated as often as you find it useful.
Your Pottery Path
BEGINNER → INTERMEDIATE → ADVANCED → MEMBERSHIP
This is our recommended pathway for students starting their pottery journey at Maci Roo. Each level is designed to build the skills, confidence, independence, and studio practices needed for independent studio use.
Progression doesn’t have to look exactly the same for everyone. We encourage students to talk with their instructor about what comes next based on their skills, confidence, goals, and readiness.
You may move from Beginner to Intermediate after your first Beginner course, and you’re welcome to remain in Intermediate or Advanced for as long as additional practice supports your development.
